A project is an isolated tenant. It owns its own gateway accounts, routing rules, customers, API keys and settings. You can create several projects (e.g. per brand or business unit) and switch between them.

Environments

Every project operates in two isolated environments, sandbox and live. Data and credentials never cross between them. The environment a request hits is determined by the API key used. See Environments.

Payment settings

Configure how payments behave for the project:
  • Statement descriptor — what customers see on their statement.
  • Orchestration strategy — how Orqex picks a gateway among your candidates. See Orchestration.
  • Dynamic currency conversion and other payment preferences.

Appearance

Customise the hosted checkout: brand name, colour and language. These defaults apply to checkout sessions unless overridden per session.
Switching the active project changes the context for everything else in the dashboard — gateway accounts, rules, keys and transactions are all project-scoped.
