Method status

GET /utils/status/payment/method/{methodCode}/{countryCode}

Returns how a payment method has been behaving in a country over a recent window. Use it to hide or de-prioritise a method in your own interface while it is struggling, instead of letting payers pick something that is going to fail. methodCode is a code you obtained from the methods discovery endpoint. An unknown method or country returns 404.

Status values

Status	Meaning
`operational`	Working normally.
`degraded`	Available, but succeeding less often than usual.
`down`	Not currently accepting payments.
`available`	Configured and usable, with no recent signal to judge it on.
`unavailable`	Not available in this environment and country.

Treat degraded and down as a reason to warn or steer, not as a hard block: the payment may still succeed.

Meta

Field	Description
`environment`	The environment the status was computed for, taken from your key.
`window_minutes`	Length of the observation window.
`generated_at`	When the snapshot was produced.
`ttl_seconds`	How long you can safely cache the answer.

Respect ttl_seconds: the result is already cached server-side, so polling faster gains you nothing and counts against your rate limit.
